This was one of the main messages from the speakers at the LEWIS Social Media Summit yesterday. We were joined in a packed auditorium by expert speakers from Omniture, LinkedIn, TechTarget, IDG and our very own Client Services Director, Jon Silk.
Jon made it very clear that PR and SEO can not work in isolation. Companies need to let their PR teams into the secret of their keywords! Henry Clifford-Jones from LinkedIn was keen to point out that professional social networking should be treated as just an extension of professional life. One of the most thought-provoking statements was from Techtarget's Bill Crowley who asked the audience to consider who they wanted to be online.
